The Musketeers Programme age 12 and under
We have children from the age of 5 to the age of 12. This is part of our Musketeers programme. After that age they will be in our teen category which is part of our Cadet programme.
If you click on the session finder you will have information on the sessions available and the different levels.
The Children's programme has a special grading system which allows children to progress and celebrate their achievement.
Boys & Girls
We have a great mix of boys and girls. Both learn in a happy and safe environment. We are one of the only clubs with a high ratio of female coaches which encourages participation of boys and girls.
Children can join our famous day camps. These are available three times a year on Saturday. It gives a great boost for children.
Competitions are a great motivation for children to continue their progress. Three times a year children have the chance to join our fun and simple format competition. It is an exciting day with children competing in different age-groups:
Under 8, Under 10, Under 12, Under 14
Due to maintenance and refurbishment work in the main sports hall at the Seymour Centre, three Friday sessions will be cancelled. We have just been informed of this and the club diary has been updated.

Congratulations to all the children and coaches for a great day of competition and well done to all the medallists. The full list of medals table will be posted here soon.
The Musketeers Cup is a fantastic competition for children. It is fun, motivational and friendly.

We would like to thank my coaches and mentors for their great work at sessions and on the competition day. Special thanks to Alice for running the matches with the young Azzam & Rebecca in her assistance. It is great to see the young ones helping and supporting those who are younger than them.
Cross Agegroup session
Last Saturday we had a great session with the opportunity to have the full hall at the Seymour Centre with fully set-up pistes and piste floor. It is summer time, so everyone had an enjoyable time on the piste with seven pistes in use.
Summer Term one day mini-camp was a great boost for the children. Children were divided into two camp formats; Electric & Steam.
This is always a great part of the programme with the morning workshop focus more on team games and the afternoon workshop aiming at improving the match quality in fencing specific drills and match tactics.
Coaches Miss Rachel & Miss Raelle were very pleased with the progress of the children and how quickly the new children integrated with the more experienced.
