Due to maintenance and refurbishment work in the main sports hall at the Seymour Centre, three Friday sessions will be cancelled. We have just been informed of this and the club diary has been updated.

On Saturday children from different schools were in action for medal places and to improve their National Youth Ranking. This is part of series of eight competitions a year with three of them taking place at the Seymour Centre (Marble Arch) at the club venue.
Congratulations to all the children and coaches for a great day of competition and well done to all the medallists. The full list of medals table will be posted here soon.
The Musketeers Cup is a fantastic competition for children. It is fun, motivational and friendly.
On Saturday fencers and coaches were in action at the Seymour Centre. There were three age categories for which children fought for the medal place. Congratulations to our three new champions:
St James & St John
U8 Little Musketeers
St James & St John
U10 Mini Musketeers
St Holland Park
U12 Junior Musketeers
We would like to thank my coaches and mentors for their great work at sessions and on the competition day. Special thanks to Alice for running the matches with the young Azzam & Rebecca in her assistance. It is great to see the young ones helping and supporting those who are younger than them.
Cross Agegroup session
Last Saturday we had a great session with the opportunity to have the full hall at the Seymour Centre with fully set-up pistes and piste floor. It is summer time, so everyone had an enjoyable time on the piste with seven pistes in use.
Summer Term one day mini-camp was a great boost for the children. Children were divided into two camp formats; Electric & Steam.
This is always a great part of the programme with the morning workshop focus more on team games and the afternoon workshop aiming at improving the match quality in fencing specific drills and match tactics.
Coaches Miss Rachel & Miss Raelle were very pleased with the progress of the children and how quickly the new children integrated with the more experienced.
